Something Interesting That I Found on Blogger

Dissident Veteran for Peace has an interesting post up on shaes blog. (Click the link to see the explanation of the pronoun used.) DVP writes about the Amish idea of Rumspringa, which I had heard of before but I've never known what it was called. DVP makes some interesting points and I would recomend reading DVP's post.

Oh and I remember once being on the train between DC and Chicago when I heard a cell phone ring - the guy that answered it was in traditional Amish dress. The Wired article that DVP links to, and which I just linked to, explains how that fits into Amish culture.
